Cabernet Franc DOC VENEZIA 2023 TERRITORIALE

Cabernet Franc arrived in Northeast Veneto at the beginning of the 1800s and immediately found its ideal home in these soils. At Tenuta Mosole, it is grown organically and aged nine months in cement tanks to preserve its natural character — the characteristic note of hay and black pepper that makes this varietal unique to the Veneto. Consistently rated 93–96 points by Luca Maroni across multiple vintages.

Tasting Notes

Ruby red with purple shades. An aromatic nose of spices, black pepper, and bay leaf with a characteristic vegetable background — the hallmark of great Veneto Cabernet Franc. Full and soft on the palate with moderate, well-integrated tannins and a persistent, warming finish.

Food Pairing

Grilled meats, pasta with meat ragù, roast pork, pizza, and medium-aged cheeses. Also excellent with charcuterie and cured meats.
